Dr. Joyce Daudi NzulwaFacilitator

Dr. Joyce Daudi Nzulwa has a Doctor of Philosophy Degree in Business Administration. She has a Masters of Arts in Counseling Psychology as well as a Master’s in Business Administration with a specialization in Human Resource Management.

Dr. Nzulwa has over 13 years working experience as a lecturer in Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, Kenyatta University, Kenya Methodist University, Kiambu Institute of Science and Technology and Thika Technical Institute. Through her work she has gained competency in training on Human Resource Management, Personal Development, Organizational Psychology, Communication Skills and Strategic Planning and Management.

Ms. Nzulwa has also undertaken a number of consultancy assignments for both private and non-profit sectors in Kenya. She is an empathetic person who is committed to providing clients with opportunities to learn and grow.

Mr. Abduba Mollu IdoFacilitator

Mr. Abduba Mollu Ido is a governance, programme management and institutional development specialist with hands on experience spanning 20 years in three countries in East and the Horn of Africa. He is currently undertaking a PhD in Governance and Leadership at JKUAT on the thematic area of Social Accountability. His area of interest has been institutionalization of local governance and institutional development processes by supporting formulation of policies, systems/tools, and capacity development aimed at enhancing effective service delivery to citizenry especially at the local levels. He has extensive participatory community development experience working with communities, grassroots organisations, international UN & Donor organisations as well as government counterparts. Abduba is a skilled trainer/facilitator, strategic thinker and capacity builder. He has managed large development & capacity building programmes for International organisations such as CIDA, DANIDA & UNDP and a number of national & International NGOs in Kenya, South Sudan and Somalia and has coordinated various development projects in Education, Food Security, Natural Resource Management, Enterprise Development, Community Based Healthcare, Water and Sanitation, Lobby & Advocacy, and Conflict Resolution.

Dr. Rukia AtikiyaFacilitator

Dr. Rukia Atikiya is PhD holder in Business Administration specializing in Strategic Management (JKUAT). A holder of MBA (Strategic Management) and Bachelor of Business and Office Management (BBOM), Dr. Rukia teaches general and strategic management at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture & Technology (JKUAT). Rukia is interested in exploring the critical link between strategic management and empowerment of marginalized women through sustainable economic development. Rukia has undertaken a number of consultancy and training assignments in development of organizational systems and procedures as well as strategic plan development. Drawing on her experiences in teaching and working with pastoralist communities of Northern Kenya, she is interested in seeking and advancing knowledge in the areas of strategy development and execution within the context of resource-deprived segments of communities such as women and youth. As a founder of Solutions for Women Organization (SWO) NGO, Rukia strives to utilize her skills and expertise towards uplifting the lives of women and children through entrepreneurial skills development and strategic management. Dr. Rukia is a member of Kenya Institute of Management (KIM).

Dr. Jama AliFacilitator

Dr. Jama Ali is a PhD holder from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology in Business Administration and a Senior Lecturer at the Technical University of Kenya where he teaches Entrepreneurship, Business Management and Project Management. He has a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) and a Bachelor of Education (Arts) degree. The consultant takes pride in his hands on experience in youth training, mentoring, assessment and evaluation of learning outcomes. He has designed and implemented specific youth training and education programmes targeting out of school youth in the refugee camps in Northern Kenya and most recently in Kakuma, where he was the lead curriculum developer for Skills for Life Project implemented by NRC and Swisscontact.
He has previous work experience in Somalia in the area of Evaluation of Emergency Education Projects for Oxfam Novib and the Design and Development of Entrepreneurship and Skills Development Curriculum for CISP in the Elmidoon Project in Galmudug. A certified trainer of various national and regional programs including ICT integration in education and Competency Based Education and Training (CBET) for Technical and Vocational Training and Education (TVET).
